It features an extensive library of books and also serves as the games room with a snooker table and a range of board games. The Kempinski spa is set in rich, beautiful gardens while the Olympic-length swimming pool is at the centre of the resort. Café Lazare offers sumptuous buffets for breakfast and dinner. L’Indochine is the resort’s signature a la carte restaurant.
The resort consists of 150 rooms and suites with luxurious, yet contemporary decor. You can choose between hill-view rooms, sea-view rooms or sea-view garden rooms. All rooms comprise a raised bedroom level with a separate lounge area, a bathroom, an interactive TV system and a mini-bar with a complimentary round of drinks.
The hotel has a comprehensive daily activity programme for both children and adults. Activities include yoga classes, tennis tournaments, kayaking and snorkelling on the reef and even tortoise feeding. The resort has an Olympic-length swimming pool, fully-equipped gym, spa with six treatment rooms, and tennis courts, a dive centre, and many non-motorised water sports. Nature walks and excursions to other parts of Mahe Island are also available from the hotel.
