Koh Jum Beach Villas

In true island style, you'll dine in salas built along the beachfront, with a choice of Thai favourites and a range of international cuisine. Much of the ingredients are harvested from the resort's garden and the locally-caught seafood is spiced and grilled to perfection. Seated at the thatched bar, gaze out at a golden sky and silhouetted Phi Phi Islands while sipping on an aptly-named 'Koh Jum Sunset'. Enjoy a soothing massage in your villa or a dip in the pool in between activities.

Behind classic peaked roofs and near-entirely foldable glass sides, the villas have teak canopy beds, large terraces, and open-air Balinese showers. In varying proximity to the sea, all have a stunning view of the beach and islands beyond, and range from one to five bedrooms. As the villas become grander, they feature detached master bedrooms, multiple storeys, private gardens and beachside salas. 10 villas have a private saltwater pool, and other features might include a kitchen and outdoor dining area. And happily, there are plenty of 'no-TV' zones!

The real question is, what can't you do on Koh Jum? Get to know the island with a tuk tuk tour, stopping off for a drink or a browse in the village; explore the forests, caves, mountains and mangroves (you might even spot a monkey fishing for crabs with their tail); spend a morning kayaking down the coastline, snorkelling the reefs of Phi Phi National Marine Park; or spend a few secluded hours on Railay Beach, only accessible by boat.
