About Lodge Borde Baker
On the scenic shores of the mighty Baker River, Lodge BordeBaker nestles in the Patagonian hills along the Carretera Austral.
Your room at this intimate wilderness lodge is one of only seven. Each room boasts picture-perfect views of the river and is warmly furnished with a wood stove, gas heating, and down bedding. The main feature is not what is inside the rooms, but the stunning nature in which you will be immersed. Without a TV in your room, you are invited to sit back and relax in the tranquility of this remote, idyllic setting. (Not to worry, there is WiFi for your connectivity needs, but with all the activities on offer, you'll hardly have a moment to scroll)
The lodge was designed and built to promote sustainable development and ecotourism. Respecting and preserving the environment, the lodge is constructed using only native wood and with as little impact on the surrounding region as possible. In addition, LED lighting, recycled waste, energy efficiency, and treated water further the environmentally conscious effort.
Here, you'll find an abundance of activities that show off all the best the region has on offer: fishing, rafting, birdwatching, horseback riding, hiking, kayaking, and more!
