The coconut grove setting creates natural cooling and lots of privacy, and each chalet is positioned to maximize both sea breezes and garden tranquility. The property's thoughtful design includes a children's playground, private beach access, and common areas that encourage socializing without forcing it. The integrated kite school means professional instructors, equipment storage, and boat departures happen seamlessly from the property. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner with healthy, tasty options. The tropical garden provides individual hammocks and outdoor furniture for each chalet, creating private alfresco living spaces. Two resident dogs, Appa and Momo, add a dash of character too.
Muita Paz has seven beach chalets and two rooms in the main guesthouse. Built from wood and organic materials, the chalets have large, Venetian-style openings to keep you cool in the heat and maximise the breeze from the coconut grove (although most do have air conditioning). Inside, there's Wi-Fi, and minibars, and outside, you'll find swaying hammocks for the ultimate afternoon snooze. Chalet Caju is the most luxurious of all, with its spacious bathroom with an indoor garden and beautiful, sea-front position. In the guesthouse, the rooms are slightly smaller and have garden views only.
The on-site Atins Kiteboarding School offers private and shared lessons, with instructors often taking guests to secluded sandbanks for optimal learning conditions of shallow, warm waters and constant cross-shore winds. It's a fantastic place to learn and also improve your skills. Beyond kitesurfing, boat to the local fishing islands, take a mangrove tour and watch the red ibis at sunset, or explore Lençóis Maranhenses' famous lagoons. The beachfront location means you can roll out of bed and straight into the ocean for a morning swim or a spot of SUPing, and there's beach horse-riding too.

Wind-swept dunes watch over shimmering, freshwater lagoons in this fantasmagorical setting.
