Munazi Lodge

Tucked away in the lush forests of Nyungwe, Munazi Lodge is built using reclaimed exotic wood from the National Park, helping native plants regenerate and supporting the local environment. The signature A-frame cabins are designed to suit the region’s high rainfall while letting in natural light and keeping you warm. Elevated above the forest floor, each private unit blends into the landscape and offers wide, open views making you feel connected to nature while still having your own space. Forested footpaths lead to every cabin, adding a sense of adventure and tranquillity to your stay. Most of what you’ll see and experience here, from the handcrafted furniture to the thoughtful design of our spaces, is made by local artisans and construction teams, working closely with park managers and engineers. It’s a community effort, rooted in sustainability and respect for the land.
