This five-day trip has it all. Based at their main camp, Kujwana, on the banks of the Xudum River, the safari takes you deep into the western Okavango on horseback – expect around six hours in the saddle on riding days, interspersed with scenic picnic lunches and camp beds for midday siestas (or a dip in the river if you fancy it). But it's not all about galloping across floodplains. Game drives, mokoro trips through the peaceful waterways and leisurely sundowners round out the days, striking a balance between adventure and total relaxation.

All set out in a very open layout the main area consisting of the bar, dining room and fireside area to enjoy a real connection with the bush. The tree house affords a gorgeous view over the Xudum river and is the perfect place to catch the breeze with a book or a siesta in the afternoon. After a ride you'll probably be opting for a refreshing dip in the pool, a perfect spot to keep cool and look over the river and plains at the passing game.
The traditional Meru style tents are the height of of charm and simplicity. Each with there own verandah and ensuite bathroom and nestled into a wooded area your tent will transport you to the heart of the bush with the many calls of the vast birdlife that surround you.
Aside from the magnificent rides you'll be doing each day there are also opportunities to explore the delta either on a game drive or from a mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe. Like the horse rides, the mokoros allow you to gently meander along the waterways with little noise or disturbance to the game.
