About Rasante

Inspired by the low flight of a bird skimming the surface of the water, Rasante reflects a belief that the most meaningful journeys leave the lightest footprint. It is a philosophy of presence over impact: close enough to truly know a place, gentle enough to leave it unchanged. Within a 4,000-hectare private reserve in Torres del Paine, the 14-room lodge was created from the buildings of a former estancia. The original structures have been carefully restored rather than replaced, preserving what belongs, building only what is needed, and making space for nature to return. Where cattle once grazed, pumas roam, guanacos wander, and birds fill the skies once more.
