RAW Botswana

Raw Botswana sits on the banks of the Selinda Spillway, an ancient watercourse linking the Okavango Delta to the Kwando-Linyanti River drainage system. Set in a dense woodland with large open floodplains, this small, intimate lodge is rustic and adventure-orientated. The focus is most certainly on more specialised activities: walks with expert guides, seasonal mokoro excursions (traditional dug-out canoes) and horse-backed safaris (for the experienced rider). Game drives here are limited and thus predators are not the focus of this camp. In an era of increasingly over-the-top luxury safaris, RAW is solar-powered and ecologically built, offering a comfortable but decidedly simple in-camp experience.
