Located in a riverine forest on the banks of a dry riverbed, Serondella's setting provides ample shade. The lodge is an intimate accommodation option, making it ideal for exclusive family bookings. Not in a group? Then get to know your fellow guests at the pool, bar and boma – one of several possible dinner locations. After dinner, share your wildlife stories over a digestif around the roaring campfire.
The best thing about Serondella’s four suites are the views – thanks to large windows in the bedrooms and bathrooms, you can enjoy excellent vistas of your nearest watering hole from the comfort of your bed, or while soaking leisurely in the bathtub. The self-contained family suite, featuring three bedrooms and a reception room with a cosy open fireplace, will appeal to those with their brood in tow. No matter what you choose, your hosts' undivided attention is assured.
Thornybush does not lack in flora and fauna, with a recorded 147 mammal species (including the Big Five), 114 reptiles, 507 birds, 49 fish, 34 amphibians and 336 trees. After your morning drive and breakfast back at the lodge or in the wilderness, set off on foot to examine the bush's smaller creatures. Talking of small – mini trackers under six are only permitted on game drives if Mum and Dad have exclusive use of the lodge.
A sensational wilderness with unfenced wildlife routes and a selection of stellar properties to choose from.
