The Story has a serious variety of cuisines, whether you fancy a Seychellois-French creation, their unique take on teppanyaki – served on a deck over the lagoon – or a Creole-inspired concoction at the Eden, located between the vibrant gardens and the beach. There is also a number of bars to choose from, whether you like your drinks poolside or on the beachfront. If you're in the mood for some pampering, head to the spa for a massage or a luxuriating hydrotherapy treatment.
The Story has a selection of suites and villas, all designed in an elegant, island-chic style, and equipped with wifi and 24-hour room service. The villas enjoy a lounge and dining area, a private pool, cabana, and a terrace with uninterrupted views across the pristine sands, just a few steps away. Each room is furnished with a king-size canopy bed draped in netting and the bathroom has a free-standing tub and outdoor shower.
The resort is just a short walk away from Oceanbird Sports, where you'll find everything you need for jet skiing, waterskiing, parasailing and banana boat rides. Deep sea fishing and island-hopping sails are also available. The nearby reef is accessible from the beach, so diving or snorkelling are always on the cards. There is also a number of hikes to go on (including one of the best on the island) where you can explore cascading waterfalls, mountainous trails and ocean vistas.
