The main lodge is a quaint, wooden building with a bright dining room and bar area, where hearty breakfasts are served and, after a day of exploring, there are handmade pizzas to hit the spot along with a glass of Chilean wine. There are also BBQs on request for something different in the evening. The lodge also features a children's play area, cinema and, down by the lake, a private beach from which to enjoy the scenery from or take a dip.
The accommodation at Terra Luna is particularly varied with a range of lodges, cabins and bungalows to choose from. Most have a wood-burning stove and lake views. In the Main Lodge, there are four triplex units, a living room and access to the terrace, while the San Valentin Lodge has three en-suite rooms and a shared space on the bottom floor with a living room, kitchen and veranda. There are various two-storey mini cabins with a kitchenette for anyone who'd like to self-cater. The bungalows range in size, with the most stylish being Campos de Hielo, twin bungalows that share a terrace, outdoor kitchen and Jacuzzi.
Aysen is a hive of adventure by water, land and air. There are multiple trekking routes, from lakes to waterfalls and hanging glaciers and the same goes for horseback rides that will take you in the footsteps of the gauchos. Of course, you can sail to mysterious islands, go river rafting, kayak beneath marble caves, and canoe past incredible scenery and wildlife on the Leones River. And if your adrenaline just isn't pumping yet, take a heli flip and watch the condors fly over the snowy peaks.
