About The Kandy House

The Kandy House is a beautifully restored 200-year-old manor tucked into the lush hills just outside Kandy, with only nine rooms meaning you won't be fighting for a sun lounger. Each room is named after a local butterfly species, which tells you something about the attention to detail here. There's a lovely pool set among tropical gardens, a spa, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes for a wonderful retreat from the hubbub of tuk-tuks and temple crowds. It's a perfect base for exploring Sri Lanka's cultural heartland without sacrificing comfort once you're finished exploring for the day.
