The rooms

With 80 rooms in total, The Leela Palace caters to all wishes. Decked out with traditional Rajasthani artwork and exquisite fabrics, each room also comes with a scenic view of the city or lofty Aravalli mountains. Their selection ranges from 72 Grand Heritage rooms (some of which come with a balcony) to eight luxe suites including the grand Royal Suite - with a jacuzzi, kitchenette and personal butler. The en-suite bathrooms also feature walk-in showers to wash away the day.

Activities

Udaipur is a tapestry of beautiful temples, heritage palaces and plenty of street food - including Diljaani, a sweetmeat favourite of the city. Stroll down the narrow lanes where handecrafts fill every stall or visit some of the city's landmarks like the Crystal Gallery (home to the largest private crystal collection under one roof), Jagdish Temple set in the ornate City Palace or head a little further afield to the grand Monsoon Palace. The hotel also offers a culinary experience including a grand tea ceremony, a Mewari cooking class and sunset cruise with canapes on the lake.
