For a little hotel, The Manor has quite the selection of restaurants. In-Q serves traditional Indian dishes with a dash of international cuisine, enjoyed with wine or tea from the pairing menu. Noci Caffe e Cucina is a casual, Italian eatery with wood-fired pizzas, simple lunches, plus a health menu. The Verandah is your answer to American-style comfort food in a bright room overlooking the lawns or al fresco on the terrace. Enjoy relaxing treatments at the House of Ayurveda, yoga sessions at the Sanctum studio or grab a book from the library to read in the garden.
The Manor's collection of rooms and suites blend contemporary chic with a local flair. Decorated with hand-crafted furnishings, neutral tones and wood-panels, each room has a cosy living area topped with wool throws. All rooms come with a mini bar, tea/coffee maker and monochrome en-suite bathroom with designer toiletries. Both suites have a king-size bed and private terrace; while the Studio Suite comes with a master bedroom and library, and the Manor Suite has a view of Delhi and champagne on arrival.
Explore Delhi's historic side with a tour of the stunning Red Fort or Humayun's Tomb, which is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Venture over to Old Delhi where you can walk streets lined with 18th-century havelis and visit India's oldest mosque, the Jama Masji. Enjoy the collections of ornate woodcarvings and modern art at the National Museum or watch the changing of the guard at the president's house. There is also a bevy of street food to try including the likes of fully-loaded chaat papdi wafers and jalebis covered in treacle.
Begin or end a trip in the pulsing capital and let the sights, sounds and smells get under your skin.
