The property

Built next to the tranquil lily pond, the spa is a real treat. You'll get rid of any toxins in the steam 'cave' before a refreshing plunge into the waterfall pool and massage in the forest sala. The main pool is multi-layered with rustic rock edges and one hell of a view. Food-wise, most ingredients are harvested from the organic garden, which you can enjoy in generational recipes and Mediterranean dishes served on the beach. Then, grab a cocktail at the Sundowners Bar and catch some live tunes.

The rooms

Connected by rope bridges, the villas combine island-casual with modern sophistication. Each is styled with rope chandeliers, cool, blue tones and driftwood furnishings. Set amongst the foliage, the Treehouse Villas have two storeys with a top floor king suite. Set along the sand, the Beachfront Villas have a diamond-shaped pool, private dining area and bar, a large swing, and even an outdoor shower. The largest is the Hilltop Villa, which boasts two master suites, two lounges and a spacious infinity pool. The mod cons are plentiful and include a huge Smart TV, music station, and 300 thread-count sheets.

Activities

This is a destination for the water babies, nature-lovers, sun worshipers and adventurous. You'll have your pick of kayaking, cycling and jungle trekking for getting to know Koh Yao Noi. Then there's the option of an island-hopping trip round the lagoon to find secluded coves, caves and reefs.
