Breakfast (both delicious and generous) is served on a patio, fronted by rose bushes and lovely gardens – green all the way to the mountains. There's a sparkling pool with sunloungers should you feel like catching some rays (order some bubbly to celebrate your stay), and a garden that's perfect for relaxing with a book, gazing up every now and again to gaze at the horses and lift your eyes to the crags. We'd certainly cheer to that.
You'll love the crisp brightness of the decor in the six bedrooms and three-bedroom family unit (the latter on the ground floor). The rooms, all on the upper floor, have en-suite bathrooms and king-sized beds to make sure you rest peacefully. The garden-view rooms are blissfully tranquil, but for a truly spectacular stay choose a mountain-facing room with its own balcony. The family unit features two double bedrooms and a single bedroom, and a private pool. TV and wi-fi throughout.
On the doorstep is a plethora of activities waiting to be ticked off your Garden Route bucket list. Watch monkeys gambolling at Monkey Land, admire local feathered species at Birds of Eden, and visit the popular Elephant Sanctuary. Explore the nearby beaches on long walks, take a dip in the ocean, or head to Plett for some upmarket retail action. The Garden Route has lots to offer. That's why it's one of our favourite destinations.
