On the palm-tussled banks of Koh Kood, Cham's House has an inviting infinity pool and Jacuzzi, which sits just in front of the main resort. There are two restaurants to choose from; the first serves a menu of Italian and Thai tapas with a barefoot style and chilled drinks on the sand, whilst Rice restaurant offers a tasty array of Thai dishes with a seafood leaning. The spa sees to all your pampering needs with soothing traditional massages.
Cham's House has 30 rooms scattered across the main building and its voluptuous grounds. Decorated in light wood and tropical motifs, the rooms have enormous glass windows to let in the natural light, which lead onto a private balcony. A number of villas have a private pool, some are steps away from the beachfront, and most come with open-air bathtubs. The air-conditioned rooms each have a satellite TV, mini bar and iPod dock. The Presidential Villa has two bedrooms and a large pool.
This is the type of place to come to for peace, tranquillity and pure natural beauty. You'll get plenty of all three lounging poolside, but there are a collection of activities too. Take to the water on a kayak, do a little exploring and find a hidden cove, or glide over colourful sealife while snorkelling. Otherwise, meander down the beach to watch fishermen haul their catch and as the day closes, catch the sunset turn the sky into a melee of colour.
An off-the-radar, idyllic eastern hideaway where coconut palms outnumber people.
