Appearing not quite real and almost a mirage reflected in the ice-blue Lake Pehoe alongside Torres del Paine's famous peaks, the Explora is a vision in white. Decorated in a similar style and palette as the main lodge, the rooms have almond-wood floors topped with cosy, grey rugs, a plush, King-sized bed and as many windows as the walls can hold. The views differ between room types but most overlook the soaring Macizo del Paine and Lake Pehoe, while some face the shimmering Salto Chico waterfall. Each room has a small sitting area, central heating and a well-appointed en-suite, and the Exploradores Suites feature an additional jetted tub. In keeping with their nature-first focus, all rooms are TV-free.
Follow the wooden walkway across the shrubbed hillside and discover the spa with its indoor, heated pool, sauna and four open-air whirlpools. If that wasn't good enough, the views are second to none!
