Heaven's layout is unorthodox yet appealing. The modern main hotel offers accommodation and seating areas on each floor for relaxing. Heaven Restaurant, with its adjacent art gallery, crafts shop and three guestrooms, lies just a few steps away. Beyond the restaurant, the brand-new Garden Chalet has a salt-water pool, yoga deck and tropical gardens for all guests. Adirondack chairs set in the shade of the grand umuvumu trees are perfect for relaxing while gazing at bustling Kigali.
Accommodation is spread across three buildings, with three rooms beside the restaurant, 12 rooms at the main villa and a further seven at the newly renovated Garden Chalet. Sizes vary, but all are clean, have private en-suite bathrooms with a good hot water supply, unlimited purified water and free wi-fi. The beds are comfortable with quality linens, vibrant African fabrics and mosquito nets. The rooms beside the restaurant (surprisingly peaceful considering their location) have good-sized bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms.
Enjoy the quirky charm in a generally safe and peaceful suburb of Rwanda's capital city. Visit the nearby attractions: the President’s residence, Hotel Milles Collines, numerous eateries and intriguing shops. The restaurant is a good place to meet local Rwandans, who both staff the place and visit to hang out, drink the excellent Rwandan French-press coffee and enjoy great meals. After sightseeing, relax in the gardens at the Garden Chalet, dip in the pool and chill in the garden.
Clean, pretty and supremely peaceful, the capital is a cosmopolitan place with a sobering history.
