About Kadizora Camp

Fall in love with the Okavango's shimmering floodplains at this luxury camp
This is the Okavango of your dreams, with a vast seasonal floodplain and wildlife to your left and right. And Kadizora Camp delivers it all in spades. Lying in the remote northern delta, this camp offers luxury in both its tents and wildlife encounters. Tear yourself away from the comforts of the lounge, bar and panoramic floodplain views to meander along the waterways in a mokoro. Too hot to move? Rest in the shade of the giant marulas, sycamore figs and rain trees, or cool off in the pool.

Property details

The property

The camp is built in a semicircle, with Meru-style tents curved around the central deck and fire pit – which is where evenings are spent, cognacs in hand, chatting about the day's adventures. Enjoy a delicious buffet-style fire-side dinner before retreating to one of the sunloungers to take in the sight of more stars than you could shake a stick at, and listening to the sounds of wildlife coming alive in the night.

The rooms

The camp's 12 luxurious and secluded tents are spacious enough for an evening yoga session on the red carpets or getting your dance on with a loved one before settling into either a twin or a double bed for the night. The water is delightfully hot, so after a lavish long bath in your en-suite bathroom head outside onto the deck to soak up the sight of the morning sun casting its golden glow over the floodplains. Sensational!

Activities

Break out your camera and get some stunning shots of the plains and their wildlife – elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, giraffe, zebra and wild dogs – starting their day. To see nocturnal beauties such as cheetahs hunting for their dinner, end-of-day drives are really thrilling.

What you'll love

There's little to beat waking in the morning to the sound of wildlife all around you, and emerging from your tent to find them only a few metres from your deck.
