With 50 acres of landscaped grounds, the resort is spacious and the pavilions are spread out over the vast property. The Main Pavilion has a 'waterfall' bar which overlooks a large infinity pool with views of the Indian Ocean. The main areas also feature a spacious public area, Shisha Lounge, a pool deck, lush tropical gardens and a luxurious spa. Meals are enjoyed either on the alfresco terrace or even along the pristine white beach, which runs along the property.
The rooms consist of 15 eastern-styled pavilions made up of domed rooms topped with blue glass. Each pavilion is set in its own private tropical garden and is served by a dedicated butler. The pavilions have two plunge pools, a circular living room, a bathroom and one or two bedrooms. A unique 'rainfall' shower room is attached to each of the Pavilion rooms. White wooden-slatted shutters with glass-less windows afford spectacular views of the Indian Ocean.
Guests usually spend their time relaxing on the daybeds by the private pools behind their private villa walls, with occasional visits to the spa for indulgent treatments or to the quiet, dhow-strewn beach to watch the sunset. For the more adventurous, scuba diving and snorkeling, jet skiing, deep-sea fishing, spice farm tours, historic Stone Town walking tours, and exotic sunset dhow cruises are just some of the other activities that can be arranged.
Kilindi Zanzibar is owned by Elewana collection which are rooted in the concept of harmony, as reflected in their Kiswahili-inspired name.
