About Les Jardins de la Medina

Elegant suites, fantastic cuisine & streets filled with history in every direction.
An Arabian mansion in the middle of buzzing Marrakesh, Les Jardins is a haven of leafy palms and orange trees and lazy moments by the pool. And nnowing that the bedlam of the city is just outside makes the hotel's breezy terraces, quiet lunches in the garden, and polished interiors all the more enjoyable! At the hotel, you'll be pampered in the stone hammam and sip cocktails on the rooftop terrace with its views over the Medina. Then, when you're ready, the city awaits, from the stunning gardens of the French quarter to the lantern-lit souk selling, perfume, silks and delicacies.

Property details

The property

You'll enter through the lobby, a grand chandelier shining overhead, and head straight through to the restaurant and bar, housed in an elegant room decorated in carved cedar and antique kettles. The menu is inspired by Moroccan and international cuisine - and is given a reimagining every so often by the chef! The spa offers treatments in tranquil rooms, solariums, and the authentic, stone hammams are swoon-worthy. In the garden (often alive with birds and tortoises), there is a large heated pool and tented gym.

The rooms

Fragranced with the scent of your choice, the rooms are a delight down to the last detail. Bright and slick, each is decorated with rustic ceramics, patterned chairs and understated art. Some rooms open onto the patio, others look out over the garden, and the solarium rooms have a private garden pergola and rooftop terrace. The bathrooms are well-appointed with circular rain showers and plush robes.

Activities

Head out onto the streets of Marrakesh to find the best spices at the (many!) markets, learn about the city's 1000-year-old history at the Bahia Palace, and hear the Muezzin's call to prayer from Koutoubia Mosque. If the desert calls, head into the Agafay Desert, where you'll ride camels over the dunes and picnic under the starlit sky. Or trek into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains to meet members of the ancient Berber community and share a traditional meal.
