Soothing water features greet you as you enter the lobby, giving way to hardwood floors, exposed stone walls, charming antique furniture and colourful accessories in the main reception area. Weaving suspension bridges connect the buildings, adding to the jungle experience - it's an adventure just getting to your room! Food-wise, the open-plan poolside bar serves light meals and drinks throughout the day, whilst the main restaurant features international and local options buffet-style and a cool balcony seating. For the ideal end to a hectic day, head to Namasthe spa for some serious pampering.
The hotel’s classy and contemporary look carries through to the 150 spacious rooms, where wooden floors, sleek furniture and minimalist décor allows the stunning rainforest backdrop to take centre stage. All rooms have AC and minibars (and good Wifi incidentally), whilst bathrooms feature refreshing rainfall showers and a separate tub. To best enjoy the leafy surroundings, try and nab a room with a balcony or deck, or go all out and opt for one of the more secluded villas - the jetted tub is a very nice addition.
There’s plenty to be done in this beautiful area, not least visiting both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides of the Igauzu Falls. The Three Frontiers viewing point is a 20-minute drive away and the nearby town has plenty of eateries to check out too. The hotel can also organise kayaking on the river, canopy and zipline excursions, and horse riding, and there are plenty of jungle trails to be explored around the property. Then, when the time comes for some R&R, there’s nothing like enjoying a drink poolside surrounded by nature.
