Walking into the main area is like entering the home of a good friend. The comfortable lounge seating, convivial dining area and bar promise good companionship. In the air-conditioned library (affectionately known as the Monkey Club), you can watch satellite TV or surf the net. Outside, shaded by a large jackalberry tree, the veranda overlooks the Sand River and the endless parade of wildlife.

Pathways wind along the perimeter of the camp to reveal individual ochre-coloured units tucked into the greenery that flanks the Sand River. The 10 luxury suites (including a fully equipped disabled suite) and eight luxury rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished in easy-on-the-eye bushveld colours, all under thatch roofs.
