The property

The Piazza is at the heart of North Island. Located on the East Beach, where the feather-soft sand meets the ocean, it’s a melee of old stone buildings that house a library, dive centre, bar, boutique and restaurant. The entire area is open plan and the accents of driftwood, blown glass, coral and rope are totally natural and absolutely stunning. There’s also an Ayurvedic spa, in which the therapists will devise a dedicated relaxation ritual just for you. The food also deserves a special mention; despite the remote setting, only magic seems to appear from the kitchen.

The rooms

Eleven opulent, hand-crafted villas sit alongside island palms right at the foot of the Indian ocean. Exquisitely decorated and luxuriously proportioned- retractable doors that lead out to a balcony overlooking the sand and sea, huge marble bathtubs, romantic writing desks, lounge areas, mini kitchens and private plunge pool terraced down with light wood makes this the flawless modern island sanctuary. Activities

The waters in this area are filled with abundant sea life, and scuba diving or snorkelling is a must. There are also SUP boards and kayaks to use, buggies and bikes to zoom around the island on, and a fleet of sleek, state-of-the-art boats to cruise in. Most activities can be guided or unguided, so the level of privacy is completely up to you.
