About The Oberoi Gurgaon

Experience Delhi in style from the grand and gleaming Oberoi hotel.
In the bustling and skyscraper-filled hub of Gurgaon, The Oberoi is like its own mini city. Walls of glass and chrome reflect nine acres of manicured lawns, shimmering pools and its own maze garden - plus, an on-site Gucci store! Enjoy a stay at The Oberoi in some of the largest rooms in the city and all under the care of your personal butler. In case the hotel didn't feel elegant enough, the piano bar (set in the famous silver and glass box!) seals the deal. Outside its borders, enjoy an Old Delhi rickshaw tour past traditional markets and ancient forts, and visit the Culture Gully for a taste of the food scene.

The property

Looking out over the tranquil reflection pool, threesixtyone° serves an array of cuisine including a tasty Sunday Brunch and personalised meals on the deck with a glass of bubbly. Enjoy Indian classics with a twist at Amaranta, hand-crafted chocolates at the Oberoi Patisserie and cocktails to the tune of live piano at the bar. Decorated from top-to-bottom in Italian marble and modern art, the spa offers a range of treatments and private yoga sessions. You can also enjoy refreshing dips in the swimming pool and soak up the sun on lemon-yellow loungers.

The rooms

Spacious and bright, the rooms/suites at The Oberoi come with floor-to-ceiling windows and walls of colourful, modern art. In shades of red, cream and grey, each room has a king-size bed, oak writing desk and living area with a TV. The marble en-suite bathrooms have a rain shower, two basins and natural, bespoke toiletries. The Presidential Suite has a master bedroom with a separate dressing area, two bathrooms, a study, dining room and a heated outdoor pool with views over the skyline.

Activities

Delhi is a medley of eight cities in one, each built on top of the other, adding a new layer to the mix. Explore Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets in India where you'll find a collection of spice stalls, silver trinkets and street food. Find yourself in the city's Mehrauli Archaeological Park where you can see 1000-year-old monuments dating back to the Mughal Empire and beyond. The glamorous side of the city comes out at the Kingdom of Dreams, a live extravaganza of Bollywood-style performances.

Something to think about

The Oberoi is grand and runs like a well-oiled clock so the attentiveness can feel a little overbearing at times.
