There are two gourmet restaurants at the hotel. The Restaurant and Bar is located in a traditional thatched- roof pavilion and offers spectacular views across the Indian Ocean. It serves Creole, International and Asian cuisine. On the Rocks is located on dark volcanic rocks that extend into the ocean and diners can almost dip their toes in the water. The Gunpowder Room, is a magnificent, restored French colonial battery and national monument. It is open for dinner twice a week.
The villas have charming thatched roofs and are decorated in natural palettes. They feature rustic oak and natural cane furniture and are adorned with photographs of local places and artefacts. Every room has a four-poster bed. The marble bathrooms have showers and sunken baths and boast wall-to-wall windows which look out onto private, walled gardens. High speed WiFi access, an iPod dock, satellite television, an espresso coffee maker and an electronic safe are provided. Some villas have private pools.
The area is renowned for its water sports which include diving, waterskiing, windsurfing and sailing on Turtle Bay. On the premises, you can have a refreshing workout at the two pools, the fully-equipped fitness centre or the floodlit tennis courts. Indulge in the gourmet cuisine at the unique restaurants and end your day by enjoying the breathtaking sunsets at the sandy beach. The resort also offers a daily programme of complimentary, culinary, artistic and spiritual activities to keep you occupied.
