Property details

The property

Found under one of the largest tents ever built in Africa, with a floor space of 210 square metres, the light and luxurious lounge and dining area that centres the two villas leading down a multi-level deck to a pool that has expansive views over the plains and lagoon of the reserve. An outdoor fire pit invites you to take in the nocturnal wildlife late into the evening under the star lit skies.

The rooms

Each of the two tented villas are set on either side of the main living and dining area, on a raised wood deck of 100-year-old teak railroad ties, sitting perched on the banks of the Zibadianja lagoon. The finishings are exquisite; from entrances through traditional Zanzibari doors, gleaming brass slipper bathtubs to stylish outdoor and indoor showers all under soft draped linen tenting. It is old world elegance at its most romantically adventurous.

Activities

Looking out onto the lagoon there is a constant stream of wildlife moving past the camp game. Expect to see year-round sightings of leopard, lion, elephant, buffalo, red lechwe, zebra and giraffe, and if you are lucky the ever elusive African wild dog from the two daily game drives. There are guided walks and the fantastic option of cruising on the Zibadianja Lagoon on “HMS Zib” to take in the Botswana wildlife from a unique water perspective.
