Situated between the North and South Luangwa parks in Zambia, the pint-sized beauty has always remained pretty much off the radar but with the help of a little private investment in recent years, Luambe is ready to have its moment. And with pods of splashing hippo numbering over 500, spectacular numbers of raptors and the return of the big cats, what a moment it’s going to be.

We planned a multi country vacation with several flights, lots of different hotels and many activities. Timbuktu took a lot of the stress off of me by helping me Figure out exactly what I wanted to do on this trip and helping me get it all scheduled. This is my third time using Timbuktu and definitely won’t be my last. Every time, I have such a wonderful and authentic experience with the people, land, and culture. Annie and the team make the entire process of booking large, logistic heavy trips so easy. Can’t wait for more experiences with them!

Annie was very helpful in planning our honeymoon. She set us up with great flights and transfers between hotels/lodges and airports. Everyone was very nice and on time. They really made us feel special. The lodges we stayed at were amazing. All with their own charm, the staff were all great and the safaris were amazing. I would recommend anyone to use Timbuktu to plan their trips. They made everything super easy and really reduced our stress with our travel.
