What to do in Tsavo

Combining the reserves of its East and West, Tsavo National Park is a relatively human-free haven for big cats including lion, leopard, cheetah and serval, and some of the largest herds of elephant in Africa. The handful of properties in Tsavo offer day and night drives, insightful bush walks with Maasai guides, and fantastic photography opportunities. You may also be able to visit the Ithumba Reintegration Unit, which helps return rescued elephants from the Sheldrick orphanage to the wild.
