Meagan, our tour organizer, was amazing and patient with changes, solutions, new ideas, suggestions and recommendations. She was very accomodating and we are very happy with the results. We liked the choices we got, and compared to other safari organizations, the price of the trip for 2 was reasonable.

I've worked with Joanna at Timbuktu a few times and she has always delivered! She is great at recommending options that fit our needs and has always been available to answer questions and make recommendations.

From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were treated like royalties. Incredible attention and dedication in so many ways, both the accommodation the guide the drivers and all the staff gave high level personal service. We were greeted by names. We feel very at home. Of course the selection of menu was excellent but most importantly I could request any thing I wanted. We love Queen our driver and Eric our spotter but especially our breakfast in the field and having drinks while watching sunsets. We saw all the big 5 and more. Gift our cook was incredible. The only thing I would wish to have was a bag of cookies provided in the bedroom 😋

Just wrapped up a 3 week rather complex adventure holiday employing the services of Jonty. Jonty was patient, informative, very timely with information and simply a pleasure to work with. Being located in the US and Jonty in South Africa he made it seem as if we were living in the same town or, he never slept. Everything worked out like a well greased machine and we could not have asked for a better or smoother holiday. Jonty and his team have my highest endorsement and I would not hesitate one bit to recommend his services or that of Timbuktu. THANKS JONTY!!

Me and my wife just came back from our Honeymoon in Thailand that we booked through Timbuktu. I travel a lot and this was by far the best trip we've ever been on. Timbuktu did an amazing job at creating an amazing itinerary for us. They helped to coordinate every aspect of the trip and really made the whole thing stress-free and very professional. One of the things I liked most about Timbuktu was their website - it is very customizable and allows you to be a part of the itinerary creation!
