Kristin has been so helpful in paying close attention to every detail of our trip and what we told we wanted it to entail. She has made us feel that we will be taken care of from beginning to end. I have never had a travel company experience like this before and it’s very impressive. Kristin worked for us right up until a couple days before she had to leave to have a baby! She’s amazing! She never made us feel like her attention was elsewhere (even though I would understand if she had lol)! This was a great experience.

Jonty is always extremely helpful and always manages to plan a trip within the allotted budget. For our most recent trip, it began as a trip for 2 and grew to 4. He was extremely accommodating in helping me with the additional bookings.

This is the second time we have travelled with Timbuktu and everything was booked and went to plan. Great selection of camps and lodges and we had a great time. Would definitely travel with Timbuktu again.

I first started looking into a trip to Africa in late 2019. I stumbled across Timbuktu and loved their website for learning about different countries, lodgings, and activities. Once I created a draft trip, Catherine reached out. She was wonderful to work with and learn from. Then COVID. In Feb. 2020, just as I was about to confirm our trip to SA and Botswana, it was all shut down. Catherine and I have stayed in touch, and I just worked with her again to plan my trip for 2024. I trust her knowledge and recommendations; I feel she truly has my best interest in mind. It will be awhile before I actually make it to Africa, but in the meantime, all I need to worry about is getting to Cape Town from Seattle in May 2024!

Timbuktu organized a 4 week spectacular trip to India for us. Meg listened to our requests and preferences and our trip was just what we asked for. Our transfers, accommodations, tours, guides, safaris and cultural experiences were all ideal. This was our first trip with Timbuktu, we look forward to future travel with them.

Absolutely wonderful service that Timbuktu provides. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. The accommodations were amazing. It was especially nice to have all of the travel already arranged. It was really nice to have a local guide as a resource, but we did not feel they were intrusive or interfered with have a nice vacation as a couple. I absolutely will use Timbuktu for future trips and give them my highest recommendation.
