Explore the city of Punta Arenas

Your scenic city tour of Punta Arenas kicks off with a visit to the Maggiorino Borgatello Museum, showcasing ethnic aboriginal artifacts, regional flora and fauna, and a wealth of historical information. Following this, you'll explore several significant monuments before heading to the impressive Nao Victoria Museum. Here, you can engage with replicas of ships pivotal to the area's discovery, colonization, and historical heritage in the Magallanes Region of Chile. The tour will then guide you through various landmarks, including the Main Square and the statue of Fernando de Magallanes. Visit the Islotes de Puñihuil Natural Monument

After being picked up from our hotel in Castro we will head northbound towards the city of Ancud. There we will take time to explore the local market and a museum. We will then continue driving along the western coast of the island to reach the natural monument of Puñihuil where Humboldt and Magellan penguins breed together. There we will have time to enjoy lunch by the sea (not included) before boarding a boat for an up-close look at the penguins. Along the way, a variety of sea birds will accompany us creating a one of a kind scenery. In the afternoon we will return to our hotel.

Go hiking in Chiloe National Park

After being picked up from our hotel in Castro we will head southbound towards the Chiloé National Park, bordering the Huillinco and Cucao lakes. When we reach the entrance of the park we will leave our vehicle and start our low difficulty hiking to explore our surroundings. We will follow a trail that will impress us with its wonderful scenery and amazing biodiversity. Subsequently, we will continue towards an indigenous community called Quilque where we will enjoy a picnic style lunch including typical dishes of the island. After this we will board our vehicle once again to reach the town of Chonchi where we will visit its church, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. See the iconic Serrano & Balmaceda Glaciers

The Balmaceda Serrano Glaciers Tour is the most popular navigation of Puerto Natales, a full day discovering one of the most iconic places in Patagonia. You will visit the two most impressive glaciers in Chile aboard a magnificent cruise: the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers. During the navigation, you will see sea lions, cormorants, waterfalls, and more! The Geometricas Thermal Hot Springs are located in Coñaripe sector. The Geometric Baths, formerly known as Termas de Cajón Negro, are the result of an ambitious project carried out by the architect Germán del Sol, who, through the construction of the thermal baths, mainly of wood and natural materials, wanted to bring nature to the geometry, to achieve a harmonious environment. Visit Exploradores Park in Carretera Austral South

Parque Exploradores was born in 1996 with the purchase of a property immersed in a pristine evergreen periglacial forest, called: “Pampa Bayo”. At that time there was still no access road to the park. In 1997, Parque Exploradores was registered in the RAPP (Network of private protected areas) belonging to the CODEFF (Committee for the Defense of Fauna and Flora). In April 1999, the first reconnaissance visit to the place was made, with a road that entered the valley of the North River and approached Lake Bayo. Together with our neighbor Orlando Soto, who knew the place best, a zodiac navigation was carried out through Lake Bayo and the Exploradores River to access the park. In the past, to get to the Park from Río Tranquilo it required 2 days on horseback, negotiating the Norte River and Bayo Lake.

Visit the moais of Ahu Akivi & stones of Puna Pau

Today, you will be picked up to explore Ahu Akivi and its iconic 7 moais, situated in the heart of the island. Legend has it that these statues symbolize the 7 explorers dispatched to Rapa Nui by King Hotu Matua. Your journey begins in the town of Hanga Roa, meandering through picturesque hills to reach the ceremonial site of Tahai. Recognized as part of the Rapa Nui National Park, this location also holds the distinction of being a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your exploration continues at the unrestored Ahu Hanga Poukura. Here, once towering moais now lie fallen and grounded. Your journey takes a turn towards the Puna Pau quarry, a crater known for its vibrant red Scoria stone, which was utilized to craft the Pukaos. Río Puelo Fly Fishing

The next six days are all about fishing, eating and relaxing. Each day you will rise early in the morning to enjoy a breakfast of local flavors, fresh fruit and homemade breads made daily by the folks at the lodge. After breakfast we depart by boat for a full day of fishing for Rainbow, Brown Trout and trophy sized Chinook Salmon. A hearty lunch prepared by the cooks is served every day on the river by your guides. At the end of each day of fishing you will return to the lodge for evening meals of sumptuous local meats and fish. The days of summer here in Patagonia are long so the evening hours after dinner are a great time to get in some late evening fishing (head in any direction and you’ll find water)

Fly Fishing in Coyhaique area

Breakfast and dinner are served at the lodge. Lunch is served at the river or surrounding area. Each evening the hosts and guides will discuss the best angling opIons for the next day. The schedule will depend on guest preferences, the best locations, weather, and water conditions.

Take in Puerto Natales on an e-bike adventure

The E-bike route offers a thrilling adventure through stunning landscapes. Today’s ride is along a private reserve not open to the public who frequent the Natural Monument Milodon Cave. We begin with a smooth, moderate ride bordering Cerro Queso (Cheese Hill) where we continue riding to a beautiful view of the Sofia Lagoon. On clear days we can see Paine Grande and other surrounding peaks set off among the far reaching fjords.

Parque Tagua Tagua

We are a Private Protected Area of ​​3,000 hectares, located in the basin of the Puelo River, on the shores of Tagua Tagua Lake, Cochamo commune, in the Chilean Patagonia. Founded in 2013 for preservation, scientific research and ecotourism. You can visit us for the day or stay in 3 cozy shelters, to explore all the trails enjoying the landscapes, flora and fauna of the pristine forest at any time of the year. Evergreen forest, water and mountains interact here in an endless cycle of life, giving home to Millenary Alerces, Coihues and Lichens among others. It is home to species such as Pudú, Pumas, Monito del Monte, Chucao … The geographical characteristics and a bold access for humans allow the Park to remain virgin. Natural barriers, such as Lake Tagua Tagua in its lower part and granite peaks in its upper part, have protected this beautiful place from human intervention. And the forces of nature: the wind, the rains, the rivers with their waterfalls and the displacements of glaciers that millions of years ago are no longer there, populated the Tagua Tagua Park with majestic pieces of art of nature. Summit Cerro Benítez and see Andean Condors

A transfer will pick you up at around 10am in your accommodation, and the you will head to Laguna Sofia, where you will join today guide in a small briefing. Then you will hike towards the summit of Cerro Benítez to witness the majestic Andean Condor and other Patagonian birds like eagles, woodpeckers, and falcons. Here you will have a small snack while photographing the incredibles views. The excursion unfolds along a moderately challenging trail that blends native forest with incredible views of Laguna Sofía and all its surrounding mountains. The trek lasts approximately three hours. You will be back at around 14:00pm.

Rio Ventisquero Heli Fly Fishing

We left the Lodge in our helicopter with the guide. The flight takes 30 minutes to the Ventisquero River, a tributary of the Puelo River. The river has a path that runs 10 kilometers following the northwest bank, passing through a native forest, with many coihues, ulmos and myrtle trees. The trail crosses shallow streams on our way and runs along the banks of the Puelo, allowing us to admire the turquoise sedimentary waters of the Toro glacier. The trail is almost flat and pleasant. Downstream we can continue, if you wish, to the banks of the Puelo River for another 10 kilometers. The helicopter will be waiting for us at the end with a healthy snack on site.

Hike to Laguna Esmeralda in Cerro Castillo

A getaway to have the opportunity to take one of the hikes with the best views that exist in the region. It is a trek of medium difficulty to reach the Cerro Castillo Lagoon, a beautiful emerald green color at the foot of this mountain range that dominates the Ibáñez River basin with its rock towers and glaciers. Aysén in an extensive region with many attractions and this outing allows you to enjoy a first “glance” at one of its main highlights that will trigger the desire to return again and again to this region of Patagonia.

Visit the breathtaking altiplanic lagoons

The Salar of Atacama stretches as a vast expanse of salt as far as the eye can see. Bathed in a gentle sun-kissed breeze, the ever-changing sky paints a mesmerizing backdrop to one of Earth's most breathtaking landscapes. From here, your journey progresses to the remarkable Piedras Rojas. To reach this destination, your vehicle will ascend to an altitude of 3,800 meters. A roughly hour-long round-trip hike unveils these copper-hued rocks, the surrounding lagoons, and salt flats. This stunning vista owes its unique geological formations to the oxidizing iron, lending the rocks their distinct hue. Amidst this grandeur, you will pause to savour a delightful breakfast. Next, you'll explore the Altiplanic Lagoons: Miscanti and Meñiques. These crystalline water bodies, flanked by imposing massifs, offer a landscape like no other. The deep blue of the sky mirrors in the lagoons, contrasting brilliantly with the ochre mountain ranges and the golden hues of the surrounding vegetation. The Altiplanic Lagoons are the Miscanti and Meñiques, two lagoons with crystalline waters, surrounded by massifs that have a unique landscape. Where we can see the sky deep blue colour reflected on the lagoons and its contrast with the ocher colours of the mountain range and the yellow of its vegetation.

Hike the Mirador Condor trail to its lookout point

This short hike is well worth the uphill climb. Once you get to the top, you will have expansive views of Torres del Paine. Condor circle overhead and the wind whips across the formidable rock formations.

Go kayaking on the Grey River in Torres Del Paine

After breakfast the necessary equipment for the excursion will be delivered and where you will have the first contact with our guides. They will give you a security briefing and basics to paddle before moving in a vehicle near the Lago Grey Hotel. Once at the Grey Lake we enter the water through the Pingo River sector, entering an icebergs area where we will sail for approximately 1 hour, enough time to contemplate the place and take pictures. Then, we will begin the descent by the river, where we will enjoy views of the Paine Massif and, if the weather allows it, we will paddle by rapids, being the final decision of the guides. The adventure continues at the Grey Bridge, where the decision of whether to end the excursion or continue to our base of operations on the banks of the Serrano River will be taken.
