Perched on a rumpled hill in the desert, the solar-powered camp has established an ecosystem of its own. There is an 'Oasis Garden' for sunny breakfasts, and a dining tent with giant poufs on rich, red carpets where you'll be served your choice of hearty Moroccan cuisine. The camp harvests vegetables and herbs from its seasonal garden for every meal. During the day, spend a few hours lounging beside one of the two pools, and treat yourself with a massage at the spa.
The tents reflect the hues of the desert with taupe linen throws, bleached wooden furniture, and woven mats. Sliding doors lead into the fully-fitted bathroom and outside, all tents have flagstone patios with far-flung views of the Atlas Mountains. Interiors are stylish and minimalist, while holding onto the influences of Marrakshi craftsmanship. In addition, there is a collection of deluxe lodges, with large bay windows and a private terrace - a definite favourite for honeymooners.
Begin your morning in sweet solitude with a session of yoga on the patio before an alfresco breakfast. Afterwards, jump on a quad bike for an hour or two of exploring, or hike to find a Berber village where you could share a traditional meal. You're only an hour from Marrakesh so there's always the option of going sightseeing or taking a day trip to the scenic Ourika Valley. In the evening, sit in the cool air and enjoy the tales of the stars from the resident astronomer.
