Algodon Mansion

The hotel sits within one of the gorgeous Belle Époque architectural gems that line the streets of Recoleta. Formerly a family home, it's now an intimate hotel where elegance comes in the form of black chandeliers, oak parquet floors and handpicked, statement artworks. The exclusive wine bar offers an assortment of local wines as well as the Algodon brand’s award-winning selection, while the restaurant showcases fresh produce harvested at the Algodon Wine Resort in Mendoza. And when the weather is right, the rooftop pool and deck are little slice of heaven.

Each of the ten amazingly appointed suites have been thoughtfully curated to deliver a feast for the eyes. But it's certainly not style over substance and all are incredibly comfortable. Using Italian marble and French limestone, and with indulgently large bathrooms featuring oversized steam showers with waterfall features, the suites take luxury to the next level. Some of the larger ones include separate living room areas, cosy fireplaces, and wet bars, but you’ll find all creature comforts - from smart TVs to espresso machines - in all of them.

If you're staying at Algodon, a visit to the restaurant and wine bar is a must. Enjoy a private wine tasting paired with local cheese and charcuterie boards and learn all about the fabulous collection of acclaimed wines produced in their Mendoza vineyards. If all the grapes are tickling your tastebuds, the hotel can also arrange a stay at their sister hotel, Algodon Wine Resort, in Mendoza (but this is probably better organised in advance).
