It all happens beneath the expansive peaked thatch of the main area, impressively constructed and furnished with ample seating. You'll find various restaurant and bar options and a convivial atmosphere of fellow travellers waiting to share a drink and a story. Find a generous early morning buffet breakfast before your day of adventuring; dine on the international al la carte menu for lunch and dinner. Baboons, warthogs and mongoose may be seen at any time. The large pool is a welcomed reprieve from the midday heat.
Rooms are comfortable and just shy of luxurious, although after a dusty day in the bush the en-suite bathroom with deep bathtub feels perfectly sumptuous. With an open-plan design, each room is appointed with convenient amenities, including a tea and coffee station, air-conditioning and TV. Enjoy the fresh air and distant view of the Chobe River from your terrace, or watch the wildlife wander onto the lodge grounds. You will have everything you need and nothing you don't.
Activities are not included and must be arranged through the activities office at the neighbouring sister operation, Chobe Safari Lodge. Staff are friendly and helpful in organising your itinerary, they will pair you with a guide who conducts very professional game drives within the park, boat cruises, fishing trips, village tours or day trips to Victoria Falls. Activities may also be arranged with a host of other tour operators in Kasane, just a short walk from the lodge.
A place for unrivalled elephant sightings in Botswana and serene boat cruises along the mighty Chobe River.
