Surrounded by gorgeous Uco Valley views, the resort cleverly blends into its natural surrounds from the outside. Aside from the vast vines and state of the art winery, there's an enormous, garden-encircled pool to enjoy, as well as a spa and fitness centre. Famed chef, Francis Mallman, is at the helm of the 7 Fuegos restaurant and you can expect Argentinian classics paired with delicious local wines, alongside some surprises too. Afterwards, head to the cava and bar room for a digestif: choose from hundreds of local wine options or a signature cocktail, blended with seasonal juices and plenty of local flair.
The 21 ultra-modern villas are fabulous and lavish. The sleek facilities include spa-style bathrooms as well as mini coffee makers and fridges stuffed with goodies, and in the middle of it all are the most enormous, cushion-laden beds we've ever laid eyes on. Garden-view villas all have jetted hot tubs and electric fire pits along with rooftop terraces, perfect for daytime sunbathing or evening star gazing, whilst mountain-view villas boast their own private decks, outdoor tubs, and cosy fire pits for chilly evenings. Really, you can't go wrong.
Start or end your days with a leisurely wander around the property and through the vineyards on the 5-kilometre trail and revel in the beauty of Mendoza. For later, there are horse riding and fly-fishing excursions to enjoy, as well as gourmet picnics and spa treatments. But really, the star of the show is the wine and oenophiles certainly won't be disappointed: tour the vineyards with a knowledgeable guide, learn all about the wine-making process, book an exclusive 'wine blending session' and then settle down to taste as many as you like...
Mountain backdrops, countless vineyards, outdoors activities and Malbec for days… Wine not?
