This well-placed ecolodge in Jinja, Uganda, clings to the banks of the northward-flowing Victoria Nile River, which connects Uganda's section of Lake Victoria with Lake Kyoga before spilling into Lake Albert and beyond. At this point the river flows wide and is dotted with tree-filled islands. It's possible to see any number of wild creatures, from fish eagles to otters.
