Samui Elephant Home is intended to help, care and conserve elephants for the purpose of providing the elephant home and helping elephants, in the long run, as well as to return them to the natural habitats and raise the number of Asian elephants in Thailand. As this project was inspired by the problem that Koh Samui still has no elephant hospital or clinic that provides proper and decent care for elephants. In addition, the project also offers opportunities for general people to learn and participate in elephant conservation. You are offered to learn the elephants' ways of life as well as holding a part in caring for elephants to have good natural well-being. Arrive Samui Elephant Home, receive an introduction to our concept and objective. Prepare food to feed the elephants such as bananas, grass and learn how to make supplements for elephants. Observe the elephants in a mud spa, which helps their skin and protects from insects. Walking with the elephants in some of the most beautiful natural surroundings on Samui, and observe the way they play and interact with their natural habitat. Return to feed the elephants before saying goodbye to your new-found friends.
