Service was attentive, thoughtful and precisely what we wanted in a holiday. Megs in particular was really helpful in sorting all the arrangements. Her comms throughout made us feel special. I would absolutely use Timbuktu again and would highly recommend them for anyone considering a bespoke holiday.

From the beginning Jenna listened to our desires. She was incredibly knowledgeable about Kenya in general and particularly the areas we wanted to visit. She offered great suggestions to really help us tailor the trip to not just meet but to exceed our expectations. We would recommend them highly to our friends and family. First class all the way!

Jenna designed a great itinerary! We met wonderful people, stayed in interesting and unique places and ate great food! There was a lot of travel between all the places we visited and had hardly any issues. And all the drivers and guides that were chosen for us were absolutely amazing! They really made the trip perfect!

Just the whole planning process went really well. We hit a snag towards the end. No ones fault. Maybe a heads up about the thing woulda been nice since it happens frequently aparently. But we were able to rrsolve it. Then the trip went so smoothly which is important when traveling in a foreign country because youre kinda helpless. I recommend them for sure and would use them again.

From start to finish, Timbuktu's Jeffi Norris offered a very supportive, comprehensive and professional experience in taking our first trip to Uganda. Jeffi's expertise in knowing the culture and geography of our destination was both reassuring and inspiring. We felt very prepared for this trip thanks to all the guidance and individualized support we received. The visit to Uganda was full of wonder as we got to experience a 'baby boom' in every savanna and rainforest. The eco-tourism in Uganda takes into consideration local communities, customer service and recycling/composting with utmost care and respect. I learned so much from this trip and am also grateful Timbuktu works directly with Speke Holidays Uganda, who provided us with a Ugandan travel guide who took great care of us and taught us so much about the wildlife conservation movement, the local communities we visited and how interconnected we all are. I finally got to trek with the Mountain Gorillas and the Chimps so my heart feels so full of gratitude towards everyone at Timbuktu and all of the local staff who made this trip so memorable.

The trip was stress free, each camp was as advertised with great tent accommodations, fabulous food served, clean, great staff and expert guides.

The service was wonderful! Tessa spent so much time helping me work out all of the details and answering all of my questions. It was definitely due to her help in planning that I ended up having an absolutely fantastic time in South Africa!
