Katja was extremely responsive; and planned a wonderful trip for my sister and I. She answered all my queries and telephone calls.

Everything was very well organized, from the initial interactions about lodging and routes, to changes based on availability, and to the staff on the ground, in Namibia, providing accurate and complete information. Made us feel secure and comfortable doing a self-drive tour around the country knowing that we have the information we need to make decisions or to call for help.

Timbuktu was excellent and responsive. Their head of sales provided rapid service and answered a number of questions whenever we had them. The information they provide before heading out is comprehensive, with a lot of small details and tips that really make a big difference.

Kat has been outstanding in helping me make the perfect trip to South Africa for myself and my partner. The whole process from enquiring to booking has been very smooth and Kat has been very clear and clean cut about the whole holiday. Would recommend to anyone looking to book this kind of holiday.

I would say the rating should be 4.75, as everything was excellent with only one minor hitch for a safari booking (that ended up working out in our favor) and perhaps a couple of preparation descriptions that could have been improved. Otherwise, Timbuktu's rep, Kristen, did a fantastic job of preparing us, and pretty much all the lodges and safari camps we stayed in were very comfortable with excellent guides, helpful friendly staff, and good food (sometimes very good). Also wanted to give a shout out to the Ultimate Safari rep, Chris, who was immediately available and helpful when we had a tire issue with our car in Namibia. Overall, I would definitely recommend Timbuktu to arrange your African adventure.
