This service has been extremely resourceful in helping plan a trip to Africa. Katja is highly in tune with what people are looking for and does her best to accommodate every request and more. She is aware of the best deals and has great knowledge of all the accommodations. She is very reliable, helping me plan my trip even on her days off. So far, we have had an excellent experience booking our trip with Timbuktu. Kristen was very knowledgeable and helped plan our itinerary. Our requirements were very specific in that we need to go to a non-malaria area, and Kristen made recommendations designed to maximize our safari experience. We don’t travel until mid-year 2020, but so far we have been very happy with Timbuktu.

Kristin worked extremely hard to plan the safari that meets our requirements. She rearranged things several times to make things just right. When there were issues with the final quote she made them right within a day. Questions were usually answered immediately and she kept us informed when we were waiting for other answers. If the trip goes as smoothly as the planning we are in for the perfect adventure.

Joanna was excellent in every way. Got back quickly with all the answers to every question no matter how small. When a small thing went awry, she knew about it right away and fixed it immediately. She let me know ways to save money and was aware of my budget concerns.

It makes all the difference that you have the same advisor on the other side, who knows the history. The internet page and online travel platform is very easy to use and user friendly. The payment solution is also good. All in all, we can recommend Timbuktu to anyone who wants a smooth and hassel free travel.
