Joanna is THE BEST. Every detail was met beyond my expectations for our large family safari. She found the perfect match for all of us and has been so incredibly helpful in every aspect.

I'm so grateful we were connected with Katja to help in planning our trip to Tanzania and Malawi. She has done a wonderful job listening to what we want to see and do during our visit. Now, we just count down to our departure date.

Although I was a little concerned traveling to Africa, Timbuktu Travel scheduled everything from airport pick-ups to excursions, so that we were never left alone. The feeling of being secure left us the ability to truly enjoy ourselves.

I inquired via the form on the website. Response was almost immediate. My agent Kat was very fast in building up a lot of potential itineraries, until we came to what was more suitable to me. She was obviously expert of the destination and could give good advices. Much appreciated also the multiple options for payments.

Timbuktu Travel is the definite travelling agent to go to if one requires any assistance to South Africa. Based on my experience, I had to organise a trip to Cape Town for my entourage. Timbuktu gave Jonty (Head of Sales) to handle my case and he was very accommodative, informative and heard me out to get special request (airport transfer, twin bed, etc.) and he did not break a sweat! Down to the last minute (3 days before initial date of arrival) where my entourage planned to arrive earlier (now 2 days before new date of arrival!), I communicated with Jonty to get a new itinerary, and again, he did not break a sweat! Everything was planned out smoothly and a 5-star rating service was given! Even during the trip, Jonty emailed me to enquire whether my entourage had arrived. I couldn't ask for more. My entourage said the trip was perfect! Timbuktu Travel is the definite answer to the tourists out there. Keep up the good work guys! Thanks again!
