I was SO impressed with the service I received from Timbuktu, specifically Caitlin. She truly made our trip a once in a lifetime journey through the bush. The initial quote was out of my budget, but Caitlin managed to ask me the right questions to tailor the trip to our needs and our budget. This involved MANY emails back and forth, after which I expected her to lose her patience. Instead, she remained professional, attentive, and caring of our needs. The final itinerary was simply too good to pass up and what started as a simple enquiry out of curiosity led us to once of the best trips in our life. The camp was amazing, the staff working there were thoughtful and perceptive, and our guide was knowledgable and experienced. What more could you want?

We went across the world and back without a glitch and we had the most wonderful adventure!

We were drawn to Timbuktu because of the easy online format which shows the options for accommodation, activities, destinations, etc. Very easy to book. Staff was quick to answer questions and very helpful. Great suggestions for improving the experience. All the details were completely worked out ahead of time and seamlessly executed. It made for an amazing honeymoon! Will definitely use Timbuktu again in the future.

Very professional service given to us by Timbuktu. Had one person, Kat, I had contact with all the time. She made our itinerary, suggested changes that made our holiday even better, came with practical advice and made sure that we were taken care of by the Albatros team that handle all their services in Kenya from the moment we landed at JKIA in Nairobi till the moment we entered the departure terminal. Excellent hotels, very professional and knowledgeable game driver and a keen eye for details. She even managed to have a small fridge for my medicines installed in each hotel rooms, Without the fridge I could not have made this trip. We were encouraged to ask questions, which was very simple as with had dircet mail contacts with Kat all the time.
