Joanna has been an incredible resource as we plan our 25th Anniversary trip to Kenya and Tanzania for next year. She has a ton of knowledge and experience, and has been great to work with. We can't wait for the trip!

Amazing! They were helpful before during and after the trip. Even my questions during the trip, they answered right away. If I had to change anything, it seemed that quite a few activities on our schedule that was given prior were different than the actual times of pick up just by an hour. Even then, they got it answered quickly! Everyone involved was so kind. Especially having the drivers booked and not one was missed or not there. Love!! Will be using in the future.

We have had a very positive experience with Meg, our travel advisor. Any questions we have had, has been answered in a timely manner. She has worked with us to plan the trip we want. Our trip isn’t until 2026 and I’m sure we will have many more conversations with me. We have the utmost confidence that we will be happy!

I have loved the help they have given me and my fiance planning our unique honeymoon to South Africa and to Réunion Island!

We have planned two family trips in Africa with Jonty and team and both have been perfect! Their suggested activities have been fun and we’ve felt safe and well cared for at every turn. We have recommended them to friends and would not hesitate to use them again for another trip to Africa or elsewhere. I always appreciate that Jonty provides detail and information about places we are considering but focuses on what we want to see and do without making strong recommendations. When we’ve asked for specialty things, he has made them happen.

Meg has been great. Very excited about the trip!! Been easy working with Meg in recommended activities and locations.

I am so glad that I worked with Timbuktu to book the Safari trip of our dreams! Jenna and Nadine were so very helpful. They worked with our budget, were super communicative and gave us options to choose from. I don't think we could have planned this trip without their help! They were available for support throughout our entire planning process, always got back to us in a timely manner and provided us with thoughtful ideas for our trip. Their attention to detail and sweet gestures did not go unnoticed. I've already started telling friends and family to use Timbuktu if they ever plan a trip to Africa. Thank you so much to the whole team for helping us plan the trip of a lifetime!

Kevin with Timbuktu was absolutely wonderful to work with planning the trip and giving suggestions. He was very responsive and easy to work with. The trip was amazing! the best trip we've been on as a family. Everything ran so smoothly. Personal Africa was absolutely fabulous - on time, extremely nice and professional, and the guides were so informative and kind and flexible. It was a wonderful trip!
