It was our first time in Africa, and we booked most of our honeymoon trip with Timbuktu (exceptions being one lodge + one hotel I booked with credit card points). I highly recommend booking with Timbuktu or even just reaching out for information. Jonty, who helped us was fast to respond, and the vendors he booked were timely and professional. I initially tried to DIY booking our whole 2 week trip and found it hard to communicate with lodges directly and book our own transportation. When I reached out to Jonty, he was able get everything sorted out right away and clearly communicated pricing and directions. He was also able to set up a tour for us while we were already on our trip because we decided last minute we wanted to tour the city. Lastly, I love that their website is so easy to navigate, and they lay out your itinerary in a way that's easy to refer back to.

I had a lot of questions. She patiently answered each one, putting my mind at ease. I'm usually a do-it-yourself trip planner, but I have to say, this is an experience I could get used to.

Jeffi is a 5+ star professional. I am so fortunate to be working directly with her as we plan my life long dream trip to Uganda. Timbuktu has an amazingly solid reputation in the travel world, and thus far I am very satisfied with the planning process. Now, I just have to wait a year to actually go.
