Great service, quick, professional. I would recommend it to everyone

We were very impressed with the care and attention we were given before and during our trip from both the Timbuktu and Albatross staff members. We felt like we never had to worry about anything.

Great recommendations across the board (hotels, restaurants and destinations) and extremely patient while i micro-managed the planning of the itinerary!

Strongly recommend Timbuktu to plan your Safari! We had an incredible experience planning our Honeymoon in Tanzania with them and everything was spotless. We worked with Jonty and he was amazing from start to finish: timely answers, transparent, great advice, available to discuss options on the phone during the weekends with 10h time difference, reached out to ensure everything was going well before, during and after the trip, was able to secure some discounts in some our our lodges and activities and overall very friendly and cordial. I will definitely use Timbuktu again for our future safaris and recommend it to any of my friends planning one! We also loved the flexibility of mix and matching camps and experienced based on our preferences and their website is great too!

After spending hours researching other safari companies, I found Timbuktu had the most comprehensive and user-friendly site. They offer excellent tours and have a lot of options to customize your trip. There were no hidden costs, I could make our safari as expensive or thrifty as I wanted. They have many options for all types of safaris. Tessa Dancer was with me every step of the way; before booking, during and even after my trip. She answered ALL of my questions and came up with other great suggestions when a camp that I picked was not available. Once I made my choices the process of booking was fast and easy. I would recommend Timbuktu to everyone.

Fab website and customer service which helped create an amazing travel experience. The lodges and resort at which we stayed were exactly what we wanted as well as friendly guides and staff to welcome us. We were well looked after by Timbuktu and will not hesitate to book our next African adventure with them.

Listened to what we wanted, acted quickly and came up with some excellent ideas. To be recommended.

These guys are the best of the best!

Not only the booking phase has gone smoothly and swift but I have been followed through my whole trip. Due to health reasons I had to change my schedules 10 days before departure and Katie took care of it. While on safari their local agent managed and solved an unexpected problem (a sudden flood of a river that required a change of itinerary). 100% recommended, will use again Timbuktu for my next trips
