Such a personal service with quick responses, additional and valuable information and a really great knowledge of the lodges and locations.

We booked our trip very late and Katja was able to put together the exact trip we wanted. We haven't taken the trip yet but are looking forward to a very smooth experience once we get there as all of the transfers, meals and accommodations have been arranged.

Everything... transfers, transport, bookings, places, activities etc., absolutely everything went perfectly, and this is down to Joanna at Timbuktu’s superb organisation! We were greeted at airports, camps, and hotels by warm friendly individuals who knew exactly where we were going and what we were doing. Not once did we have to organise ourselves, such a pleasure! Of course the animals, landscapes, people, food, adventures, walks, safaris on water and land, chill time on the island were just some of the wonderful experiences ans memories we made. All in all, we truly had the trip of a life time. Thanks so much for organising our honeymoon, we will never forget it. We are DEFINITELY going back to Africa as soon as possible, and Timbuktu will Ben our first point of call.

Recently booked a trip to Botswana and Zimbabwe... Johnny and his team were absolutely brilliant - in regular contact, updating accommodation and listening to what we needed. Johnny sent regular emails plus packing tips and answered all our questions. This is a really personal service with people who know the region and genuinely want you to have the best trip.

Fantastic service from Joanna at Timbuktu. She was very patient, full of suggestions and clearly knowledgeable about Tanzania. This is my first Safari and she has helped to design my ideal trip. She was mindful of my budget and made changes to suit this. I would not hesitate to recommend Timbuktu.

Joanna was truly amazing. So professional and so accommodating. She put together a great itinerary in a short time, when several other companies I had spoken to couldn't seem to provide what we were asking. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and really wonderful to work with.
