Hidden away in the heart of the Bahia region, Chapada Diamantina National Park is nothing short of ethereal. Formerly known as Brazil's diamond rush epicentre, the park now mines something far more valuable – moments of pure awe. Tabletop mountains rise from valleys full of waterfalls and snaking rivers, and underground pools catch the sun’s rays, turning them impossibly blue.
